Can you buy a cake without sugar that is still sweet and delicious? Yes — RawCake.lv raw cakes contain no refined (white) sugar. Their sweetness comes from dates, bananas, raisins and fresh fruit. Here is how it works, which cakes to choose and how to order them in Riga.
What "sugar-free cake" means
We do not add white refined sugar to our cakes. The sweetness comes from fruit and dried fruit: dates, bananas, raisins, prunes, mango and berries. Some cakes are lightly sweetened with agave syrup, and the Medovik honey cake with honey. So, to be precise, these are cakes without refined sugar, sweetened naturally.
Fruit and dates also contain natural sugars. If you have diabetes or need to limit your sugar intake, please consult your doctor before choosing and check the full ingredient list on each cake's page.
Why raw cakes are sweet without sugar
- Dates — the main sweetener and the "glue" for the nut base.

A 1 kg cake (about 16 cm in diameter) costs from 45 €; 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 kg sizes are also available. Please order at least 2 days in advance and choose the delivery date and time. Delivery in Riga, Jūrmala, Mārupe and the Riga region from 8.95 €, or free pickup at Lāčplēša iela 35, Riga. Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
